Nettleton village hall had an existing gravel car parking area of around 700m2, which after a duration of time had become rutted and difficult to manage. Cars and heavy goods vehicles were constantly getting caught in pot holes and gravel migration was an issue. A long term ground reinforcement solution was needed to ensure local residents, customers or suppliers would have a better experience when arriving at Nattleton Village Hall.

The Gridforce team came to site and installed a “reduced dig solution”; this is where they removed the existing gravel, laid a non-woven geotextile, topped with 30mm sharp sand and overlaid with Gridforce GF40. The exisiting 20mm gravel was re-used within the grid and topped up by the team. The car park installation was very successful and took 5 days from the start to completion.
